This policy is a valuable tool for anyone involved with children's activities in the London Borough of Ealing, whether paid or on a voluntary basis to ensure that everyone understands their responsibility towards safeguarding children, listening to children, responding to allegations of abuse, recognizing signs of abuse, recruitment of staff and promoting safe practice.
All groups and organisations working with children should have in place up to date child protection procedures, which are compliant with the London Child Protection Procedures. You may produce your own or adopt policy and procedure as set out in this 'Yellow Book'.
