Out of School Development Support

If you work in the Out of School sector (After School Clubs, Breakfast Clubs and Holiday Play Schemes) you have access to a team of Development Officers dedicated to providing you with support and advice.

The team will give support on:

• Commissioning and Grants
• Starting new or expanding existing provision
• Documentation for Display
• Policy and procedures
• Sample forms
• Ofsted registrations and inspections
• Raising quality
• Training
• Planning
• SEN and Inclusion
• Early Years Foundation Stage
• Observations  
• Business support
• Games and activities
• Recruitment support
• Toy library
• Financial Advice for Families
• Healthy Eating

As of April 2011 Ealing had over 180 Out of School providers. The Out of School Development Team will work with each of these providers to ensure they are given the maximum help and support on a regular basis through:

• Site visits
• One-to-one meetings
• Support calls 
• Correspondence
• Network Events

During August to November 2010 we carried out a consultation with children and their families about Out of School Care in Ealing. The results of this consultation are available for you to view.
