Commissioning
The Youth, Connexions and Play section is responsible for fulfilling the local authority’s duty, under the Childcare Act, to ensure there is sufficient childcare, of good quality and Inclusive to all. The department has limited funding available each year to commission the provision of high quality services where there is an identified need.
New Places Commissioning
Financial support towards the start up costs of an After School Club, Breakfast Club or Holiday Club.
