Individual Training Grant
Ealing Early Years Childcare and Play are funding a new scheme to enable more childcare providers to have access to qualification training. An ‘Individual Training Grant’ can fund qualification courses on the CWD and Ofsted register such as NVQ’s at all levels.
Who can apply?
- Anyone working/volunteering for at least seven hours a week in a registered setting in Ealing
- Registered childminders in Ealing
- The grant is available to the maintained, private and voluntary sector
How to apply:
- Find a course near you.
- Understand routes to qualifications through training.
- Read the full 'Steps to applying' guidelines.
- Complete the application for childminders or the application for group settings.
- Go through the checklist to ensure you haven't missed a step.
- Agree the training with your childcare setting who will receive the grant and be responsible for forwarding payment to the training provider. (Childminders are paid directly).
What we expect from the course attendee:
- A satisfactory level of attendance
- Completion of the course within the allocated time
- Responsibility to repay the grant if you do not complete the course
What we expect from the childcare provider:
- To be responsible for receiving the grant and paying the training provider on behalf of the applicant
- Accept responsibility for repaying the grant if the applicant does not complete the course
