Information and Advice
We aim to ensure that parents have access to information and advice about locally available childcare and other support services via the Children’s Information Service. This includes information about the quality and variety of childcare available, such as Childminders, preschool groups, Breakfast groups, After School Groups, Holiday playschemes and Children’s Centres. We are improving the availability and accessibility of advice and information to parents in a variety of formats so that they can act as informed consumers.
