Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership

The Ealing Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership’s (EYDCP) main purpose is to deliver locally the SureStart Vision to ensure that every child gets the best possible start in life by the provision of high quality, integrated, early education and childcare services for children aged from birth to 14, or 16 for children with special needs.

To help deliver this vision Ealing EYDCP has a highly dedicated team of development workers based locally to support the key areas of work. Including Business Support, Childminders, Out of School and Recruitment into Childcare.

The EYDCP membership is made up of other interested groups and organisations, such as the Early Years team and the Play Service within the Local authority, also providers of early years and play from the Private, voluntary, Independent and maintained sector. Also within the membership are the Sure Start Local Programmes, Training Providers, Job Centre Plus, Health and Social Services representatives, NCMA, Teenage Pregnancy Strategy and Care to Learn.
