Inclusion and Accessibility
We are working to ensure that disabled children and their families should have access to the full range of childcare options, which are open to other families. Children’s Centres and Extended Schools will provide services that are accessible to disabled children and their families and as often as is possible, children, parents and carers will be involved in the planning and implementation of services. A dedicated team of Area Senco Workers support settings in the Private, Voluntary and Maintained Sector offering advice and support on strategies and techniques for working with children with special educational needs.
