Children's Centres
All communities are to have a Children’s Centre by 2010. Initially though Children’s Centres are being established within the disadvantaged wards of the borough. These Children’s Centres will offer the full core offer of services to babies and preschool children. Services offered via the EYDCP such as the Recruitment Campaign, Training, information and advice services via the Children’s Information Service, and NCMA, quality assured Childminder Networks, to be fully integrated with the Children’s Centres.
