Childminding

Childminding Development Officers offer support and advice to new and existing childminders as we recognise that working on your own, as a childminder, presents many challenges. This includes support throughout the Ofsted registration process. In addition, there are a number of support childminders - experienced childminders who can act as mentors to offer new childminders help.

There are NCMA childminding networks in the borough, giving childminders the opportunity to share ideas, be supported by a Network Co-ordinator and improve the quality of the service that they offer.
