Brokering and Partnership Working
This is an important aspect to the EYDCP work in order to ensure diversity of provision and therefor maximise choice for parents and carers, strengthen the relationship with schools and the maintained sector whilst maintaining the strong links with private and voluntary groups when planning childcare services. We ensure that skilled Business Support and advice is available.
Various grants are available via the EYDCP for setting up new provision, and sustaining high quality existing provision. Small grants are available to those interested in childminding as a career covering set up costs and training fees.
