Early Years

"Every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to fulfil their potential. A child's experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances." Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, May 2008.

Our role is to support the provision of a high quality, integrated early education service promoting the development and learning for all children from birth to the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage. This includes the support of children's transition through to Key Stage 1.

Practitioners working across Ealing are supported through the provision of:

• Early Years Consultants who provide support and challenge to early years settings
• Training Opportunities to empower practitioners with skills, understanding and a shared experience
• Funding Support to develop and sustain Early Years provision across Ealing

Each SENCO Network Meeting is based around a central focus to help develop and support their practice.
