ICT in the Early Years
Have you noticed the changing pace of technology in your own life? Have you tried the self scanning system at Tesco? Have you started taking photos, using video or blue tooth on your mobile phone? Are you buying books from Amazon on line? Topping up your Oyster card over the internet? Are you using skype to chat with friends and share files?
Young children are exposed to this technology as a normal way of life, the question we need to ask ourselves is “what we are doing to tap into and develop this confidence, experience and ICT literacy during children’s time in Nursery?”.
