West London Academy is linked to Limetrees Children's Centre. Below is an overview of services on offer. Please contact the centre directly for more information and for specific enquiries.
Childcare
- Full daycare for children aged three to five years from 8am -6pm
Play and Out of School
- Breakfast Provision for ages 5-11 years
- After School Provision for ages 5-11 years
- Children’s University – after school clubs for ages 8-14 years
- After school clubs for ages 5 – 11 years
Family support
- Family Learning Courses for parents and children in numeracy, language and play, ICT and cookery.
- Six week course of 'Keeping up with your Child' to support parents of Foundation Stage children.
- Family Links programme to support Primary parents.
Work, study or volunteer
- A Job Centre Plus Adviser is available to give advice and help parents to access work, training for work, benefits and Tax Credits.
- ESOL, ICT and Adult Education Classes as part of the Academy’s Adult Education and Community Learning Centre http://www.wlaaec.co.uk/
- Access to work experience for parents who are attending childcare courses.
Health
- We work in close partnership with the children's centre dietitians and occupational therapist.
Community
- Ongoing working relationships with the local library, Sure Start, community police, local church and other community interests.
