Families with additional needs
The Special Care Unit caters for children with multiple special educational needs including children on the Autistic Spectrum.
The I CAN project for children with speech and language difficulties supports up to 10 children on a daily basis with a team consisting of a teacher, speech and language specialist and a nursery nurse.
Many children with special educational needs are included in the mainstream nursery which is well resourced including use of a multi-sensory room and a high ratio of adults to children.
